Today’s sequence of lectures on King Lear aims to develop students’ literary appreciation by offering analyses that will not only enhance their understanding of the text but also help them to embrace a range of other ideas which can be incorporated into their learning and made part of their examination preparations.

  • King Lear: The roles of Lear and the fool
  • Close analysis of extracts/passages (beneficial for individual skills, personal interpretations, development of knowledge of the whole play, revision and exam technique)
