Today’s sequence of lectures aims to develop students’ literary appreciation by offering analyses that will not only enhance their understanding of the text but also help them to embrace a range of other ideas which can be incorporated into their learning and made part of their examination preparations.

  • Some of Shakespeare’s dramatic techniques in Hamlet
  • Shakespeare’s use of family relationships in Hamlet
  • Close analysis of extracts/passages (beneficial for individual skills, personal interpretations, development of knowledge of the whole play, revision and examination technique)
